Woman to Woman: What Would You Do?
I know we've all heard this song and some of us have even been in this predicament at one point or another. My question is what would you do if a woman called you and asked you if you were seeing "her" boyfriend, husband, etc.? What would you say? How would you handle it? Would you tell her the truth or would you tell her not to call your phone anymore?
From the male perspective I'm wondering if men do this too. Has a man ever called you and asked if you were dating his girlfriend or wife? What is the "man law" in situations as this?

Yes i have had that happen three times in different forms
ReplyDelete1- a "single" woman's man text me from her phone, asking who i was....so after some around the bout talk, i finally said told him the nature of our "friendship" which honestly wasnt much...and any issue he had, he might want to talk her and stay off my phone
2- one dude called me from his phone..."dont call my woman..." it was kinda funny cus he was heated!! i just laughed that one off, never heard from again
3- the boyfriend my ex had after me, called me on some "man to man".... i just told him straight up and down that her and i were still pretty tight and i wasnt going to back off so he was just gonna have to deal with it....we never talked but im sure it put her in a bad spot....
as far as the man law, while of course your beef should be with your woman, i can understand wanting to do some investigating especially if you feel you not getting truth out of her.. but keep in mind, your beef still will be with her

ReplyDeleteThe first time she called on "woman to woman" status and I gave her a little information because she seemed so depressed to know her boyfriend was cheating. I had no idea he was involved with anyone. Long story short, she came at me foul once I wouldnt divulge any and everything she wanted to know. I said clear and plain, I am not going to give you all of that information. If you genuinely want to know if he is cheating, the answer is "yes" and I left it at that.
The 2nd time this happened the woman was very cordial and her "boyfriend" just kept lying to her. I felt bad for her also so I told her thet truth.
The way I think, if it was me, which it never has been, I would want to know. My grandmother always says, "treat others as you would have them treat you" lol...so that has always been my rationale.
I was called a couple of time. The first time my boyfriend had called a friend from my phone. Later that week/month, I received a call from the guy's girl asking how I knew her man. I asked his name and then asked if her man knew my man. She felt foolish, but explained to me that she had caught her man stepping out on her several times and now they lived together, she was pregnant,ect. Ect....I felt bad for her and listened to her vent for awhile. At the end, I wished her luck and hung up. She never called again.
ReplyDeleteAnother time my good friend's girl called me right after I had hung up with him and told me "never to fucking call her man again!" Then hung up on me. I called my friend the next day and he apologized for her, but our relationship was never the same again.
I also called a girl once ..actually caught him at the woman's place when I called. It was a horrible feeling and looking back at it, I can't believe I was so bold, but there was intense need to know at that time. If I could go back and change it, I would have trusted my instinct and left it alone, and him alone........
@Cris...OMG...the chick who called and hung up in your face...can we say "bold" and "crazy". Some people really jump to conclusions, but I understand how a woman can go there if she doesn't trust her man because of things he's done in the past. But like you said, if you wouldve known better, you wouldve done better.
ReplyDelete@Maya...she was crazy!! I was really good friends with her man and her man's EX-girlfriend. See, the way his new girlfriend "got" him was because she busted him out to his girl (the crazy one was the "sancha"). When my friend's first girlfriend confronted him (she was so cool and I really liked her), she instantly broke up with him and so he was left with the crazy one...ain't that some shit! That's why the crazy girl called all of his female friends, because look at the way she got her man! If the chick would have stayed on the line, I woulda told her that I didn't want her man because he slept with EVERYONE (nah, I wouldn't have busted him out like that, but it would have been fun, hehehe)...anyways, he had a kid with her and eventually married her, but still calls me (secretly) every now and then....
